Race Coaching

Half Day, Full Day, Multiple Day Programs.
Offered at all Bay Area tracks (with your own kart) including some tracks outside the Bay Area.
Race Coaching is available for those who are currently racing karts or getting ready to race karts.

On Track:

Perfecting The Driving Line: Learning the proper driving line and hitting your marks, exactly!

Consistent Lap Times: Keeping your lap times within 100th’s of a sec.

Section Timing: Timing the racer in sections of the track to determine where they can improve as compared to their fellow racers.

Passing Strategies: How, when, where to pass safely and as quickly as possible since most races are short in duration.

Qualifying Up Front: Getting up to speed quickly on new and cold tires since many times qualifying is limited to two laps, and morning hours.

Getting Good Starts: How to plan for good, clean & safe starts, both standing and rolling starts.

Winning Races: Putting it all together: Applying all of the above to get to that checkered flag first!

 

Off Track:

Data Analysis: We’ll review data analysis to see where you can make improvements to your driving: braking and acceleration points, lap by lap analysis, and compare data when available.

GoPro Video footage: We’ll review video and audio footage to see and listen to how you are driving, and will help you get faster.

Mental Training: How to be aggressive yet calm at the same time, and how to stay focused and not allow for distractions.

Physical Fitness Training: Cardio., weight training and flexibility programs specific to kart racing.

Nutrition: Proper eating habits, foods and liquids necessary for optimum fitness during races.
